Mission: The Charleston County Ombudsman Office is dedicated to providing impartial assistance, resolving issues, and ensuring fair treatment for all residents and stakeholders of Charleston County. We strive to enhance transparency, accountability, and trust in county services and operations.

The Ombudsman Office acts as a bridge between the public and Charleston County departments. We offer a confidential and neutral resource for addressing and resolving concerns involving county services.
