March 4, 2014

Charleston County Government hosted a Public Introduction Meeting on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Goodwin Elementary School, 5501 Dorchester Road, North Charleston, to discuss the Airport Connector Road Project. During the meeting, members of the Project Team presented early planning information and project goals, while attendees were given the opportunity to speak one-on-one with the Project Team and submit written comments. The County accepted public comments through March 18, 2014.

Charleston County Government hosted a Public Information Meeting on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Jerry Zucker Middle School located at 6401 Dorchester Road in North Charleston. The meeting was conducted in an open-house format, with a project overview presentation at 6:30 p.m., followed by a 20-minute Q&A session. Members of the project team presented three alignment alternatives and shared findings on potential impacts for the community and residents. Attendees had the opportunity to review exhibits, provide written comments, and speak one-on-one with County and project team representatives. The County accepted public comments through by July 2, 2014.
